The 2**Hotel Crocini Situated in a mid 19th century building, with a pretty garden in the interior, the hotel is well connected by public transportation to the heart of Florence: minibus lines A, B and D run along Via Magenta (a stop is located a few meters from the hotel) and the neighboring streets and take 5 minutes to reach the Church of Santa Maria Novella, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria and all the main museums and sights of the city. A pretty twenty minute stroll along Lungarno Vespucci or the internal streets leads to Santa Trinita and Via Tornabuoni; it takes half an hour on foot to get to Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Signoria. But even in a 10 minute walk from the hotel you'll find some gems to start discovering the many masterpieces which, like in a great museum, pervade Florence and make it unique: the refectory of the Church of Ognissanti, overlooking a square of the same name, contains a wonderful Last Supper fresco by Domenico Ghirlandaio from 1488, and a Sant’Agostino in the study, an early work by Sandro Botticelli.
